Full description

The Job Ready Accounting Training – Level 1 is NAO's foundational program. It is delivered entirely online, is free of cost, and is designed for students who have completed Class 12 and want to become employable without waiting until the end of a bachelor's degree. The course is structured as 20 episodes. It begins with the practical realities that most students are never taught — what income tax is and how it works, what a PAN is and how to obtain one, how to fill bank vouchers and handle banking documentation, how to prepare and issue bills, and how to maintain day-to-day accounts for a small business. It then builds a working understanding of accountancy from first principles, and closes with career guidance and an introduction to professional pathways such as CA and ACCA. Every episode is recorded by a qualified professional in active practice, so students learn not only the concept but exactly how it is applied in a real office in Nepal. On successful completion, students receive a certificate issued by Nepal Accounts Olympiad.

Objectives
  1. 01

To make every Class 12 graduate in Nepal job ready in practical accounting work.

  2. 02

  3. 03

To enable students to earn an income and support their own bachelor's education.

  4. 04

To make quality training accessible regardless of location or financial background.

  5. 05

To expose students to professional qualifications such as CA and ACCA at an early stage.

Benefits
  1. 01

Completely free — no tuition, no registration fee.

  2. 02

Learn from practising Chartered Accountants and ACCA members.

  3. 03

Practical, job-oriented skills that can be used from the first day of employment.

  4. 04

Learn at your own pace, from anywhere in Nepal.
