CA Deepak Pandey Supreme Patron, Nepal Accounts Olympiad A Chartered Accountant, entrepreneur and institution-builder, CA Deepak Pandey has spent his career at the intersection of Nepal’s accounting profession and its private sector. A Past President of the Association of Chartered Accountants of Nepal (ACAN), he has been a long-standing voice for raising professional standards and expanding opportunity for young accountants in Nepal. Beyond the profession, he is the promoter of Marriott Lumbini Palace and a group of enterprises spanning hospitality and hydropower — businesses that today contribute meaningfully to Nepal’s tourism infrastructure and domestic energy capacity. As Supreme Patron of Nepal Accounts Olympiad, he lends his experience and standing to NAO’s mission of building Nepal’s accounting future.

Mr. Indra Prasad Paudel Member, Board of Governors An agriculture professional with over 30 years of field experience, Mr. Paudel serves as a Level 8 Officer at LI-BIRD, one of Nepal’s leading development organizations. He has spent the past two decades training agriculture students across the country.

CA Karuna Regmi Member, Board of Governors — Nepal Accounts Olympiad A Chartered Accountant holding membership of both the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nepal (ICAN) and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), CA Karuna Regmi is a partner at KRSP & Associates. A dedicated educator alongside professional practice, CA Regmi is the author of Auditing and Assurance for the CAP II level — a text now relied on by CA students across Nepal — and has taught the subject to hundreds of aspiring Chartered Accountants. This combination of practice, teaching and authorship brings NAO’s Board direct insight into what Nepal’s next generation of accountants needs to learn.

CA Anil Shahi Founding Member | Faculty — Taxation (CA Intermediate, ICAI & ICAN) A qualified Chartered Accountant and tax specialist, CA Anil Shahi teaches Taxation at the Intermediate level for both ICAI and ICAN. As one of the founding members of the institution, he has helped shape its academic approach from the very beginning. His teaching is known for turning one of the most feared papers into one of the most scoring — breaking down provisions into logic students can actually apply in the exam hall.

Mr. Bhuwan Dhungel, ACCA Founder Member, Nepal Accounts Olympiad An ACCA-qualified professional and educator, Mr. Bhuwan Dhungel teaches Strategic Business Leadership at the Strategic Professional level of the ACCA qualification — the capstone paper that tests the judgement, ethics and leadership expected of senior finance professionals. As a Founder Member of Nepal Accounts Olympiad, he brings a global qualification perspective to NAO’s work, helping ensure that Nepali students are prepared not only for domestic practice but for international opportunity.

Mr. Narayan Acharya Expert Advisor & Academic Leader, Nepal Accounts Olympiad An educationist and media professional, Mr. Narayan Acharya has spent his career making education accessible beyond the classroom. He is the creator and host of Shikshya Ka Kura and Sarthak Shikshya, programmes broadcast on Janata Television and Prime Television HD, through which he has brought conversations on Nepal’s education system to a national audience. A Master’s degree holder and an active digital creator, he guides NAO’s academic direction — shaping how the Olympiad’s programmes are designed, delivered and communicated to students across the country.

CA Sudesh Pandey NAO Trainer | Partner, SPSA Associates Faculty — Taxation (ICAN, CAP II) & Financial Management (ACCA) A practising Chartered Accountant and partner at SPSA Associates, CA Sudesh Pandey brings live professional experience into the classroom. He teaches Taxation at ICAN CAP II and Financial Management for ACCA, and serves as a trainer for the Nepal Accounts Olympiad. As a tax specialist handling real client matters daily, he teaches provisions the way they are actually applied — not just the way they are printed.

Mr. Bishnu Prasad Sharma National Academic Leader, Nepal Accounts Olympiad An experienced educationist, Mr. Bishnu Prasad Sharma serves as Vice Principal of Bridgewater International College and is an active member of HISSAN Bagmati Province. His work bridges school-level education and professional pathways — an understanding that directly informs NAO’s academic planning as the Olympiad reaches Class 12 students across Bagmati Pradesh.

A veterinary doctor by training and the founder of Padhai Mantra, a learning platform for students of Classes 10, 11 and 12. His work has focused on making academic guidance accessible to students preparing for the decisions that shape their careers. As Youth Ambassador, he mentors students across NAO’s programs

Ms. Prakriti Bhandari, ACCA NAO Trainer | Faculty — Performance Management (PM) & Advanced Performance Management (APM) An ACCA-qualified professional, Prakriti Bhandari teaches cost and management accounting across the Applied Skills and Strategic Professional levels. She also serves as a trainer for the Nepal Accounts Olympiad, taking accounting fundamentals beyond the classroom to students across the country. Her sessions are built on clarity — costing techniques explained through real business decisions rather than formulas to be memorised.

Mr. Sabin Thapa, ACCA Faculty — Audit and Assurance (AA) & Advanced Audit and Assurance (AAA) An ACCA-qualified professional, Sabin Thapa teaches audit across both the Applied Skills and Strategic Professional levels. His classes focus on building a clear grasp of audit standards and the professional judgement the examiner is actually testing — moving students from memorising procedures to reasoning through real scenarios.
