The National Accounts Talent Hunt is NAO's flagship talent identification program. It is a structured, standardised competition conducted at the provincial level across all seven provinces of Nepal. The examination is an objective test of 50 multiple-choice questions, administered through an OMR-based system to ensure speed, accuracy and complete impartiality in evaluation. Questions assess accounting fundamentals, analytical reasoning and commercial awareness. Winners at each provincial level receive cash prizes. Beyond the prize money, the top three performers from every province — twenty-one students nationally — are awarded a 100% scholarship for a full professional qualification, either Chartered Accountancy (CA) or ACCA, delivered through NAO's institutional partners. NATH is, to our knowledge, the first national accounting competition in Nepal to attach a full professional scholarship to its results.
